Railway aficionados will want to stop at Picton to experience two fine examples of colonial railway bridges in this town - the timber trestle Victoria Bridge, and the stone railway viaduct that crosses Stonequarry Creek.
Picton is also home to the Redbank Range Railway Tunnel, which was the first tunnel used by NSW railways but is now used to grow mushrooms!
Speaking of food, Picton is also a stop where you’ll find many charming cafes and shops as well as markets that sell the produce grown in the rich soils of the surrounding farmland.
